Thermocouple shop
A thermocouple fitted to a solenoid unit within a gas control acts as flame failure safety device.When the tip of thermocouple is heated by the flame it produces an electromagnetic unit. When the flame is extinguished the current is reduced closing the magnet unit which in turn closes the gas supply automatically.
